A. Mizan Rahman - Founder, CEO & Chief Software Architect
Mizan Rahman founded M2SYS in 1998. As a visionary, expert
software engineer and seasoned entrepreneur, he combines his
impressive background solving customers' problems and building
companies with a natural intensity and commitment to excellence.
While working on several different project designs at M2SYS, Mr.
Rahman designed and developed a new generation Supply Chain
sourcing automation technology that received strong market
demand and interest. Recognizing the enormous potential for this
application, in 1999 Mr Rahman leveraged the innovation to spin
off a separate subsidiary from M2SYS and founded Net Research,
Inc/BayBuilder. BayBuilder evolved into the marketing and
distribution arm of M2SYS' strategic sourcing software and
quickly matured into an extremely successful enterprise.
The BayBuilder product was adopted and fully integrated into the
sourcing processes of many Fortune 500 companies including
Honeywell, TRW, NiSource, UNISYS, Owens Corning, Arch Coal,
Bayer, Lexmark, Lennox, PPG Industries, Agere, Conectiv, Unocal,
Fleetguard, Dofasco and many others. This pioneering technology
has helped companies to save over $1 billion dollars from
reductions in their costs of goods and services, shortened
sourcing cycle times and improved time-to-market cycles. In
2001, BayBuilder was acquired by a leading publicly traded B2B
software company for $15 million where Mr. Rahman subsequently
served as the VP of Engineering for a period of one year,
managing the employee base and development process for several
electronic procurement applications that have supported hundreds
of millions of dollars in transactions for more than 30 Global
2500 enterprises.

a creative idea into an invaluable, profitable business software
solution has prompted much acclaim from leading sector analysts
and executives worldwide and is the foundation for M2SYS'
dedication to achieving excellence for its clients. Mr. Rahman
