M2SYS and Fujitsu Partner to Accelerate Worldwide Adoption of Palm Vein Biometric Authentication Technology

M2SYS Technology announced a strategic alliance with Fujitsu Frontech North America (FFNA) that will result in the widespread growth and adoption of PC-based palm vein biometric recognition systems. Under the partnership, M2SYS has added support for the Fujitsu PalmSecure™ biometric authentication system to its Bio-Plugin™ biometrics platform.

Software companies that want to adopt the highly secure, reliable, and user-friendly Fujitsu palm vein biometric authentication system can now do so within hours, accelerating time-to-market and reducing software engineering and maintenance costs.

Unlike other forms of biometric technology that can produce inconsistent results due to skin damage, environmental conditions, age, ethnicity, or other factors, the Fujitsu PalmSecure technology uses a near-infrared light to scan beneath the skin's surface to capture a user's unique palm vein pattern, resulting in extremely low occurrences of both false positive and false negative readings despite dry, rough, or generally poor skin conditions. This advanced, contactless authentication technology offers an easy-to-use, hygienic and non-intrusive solution that generates fast identity verifications.
