a fingerprint is unique to each student and cannot be lost, biometric
recognition is a superior solution to the issuance of ID cards or PIN
numbers. A student is enrolled
into the system simply by placing one or two of their fingers on a
fingerprint reader. The reader
then scans the print and the student is registered.
M2SYS’ unique technology saves the fingerprint as a series of
numbers and not as an actual fingerprint image, alleviating privacy and
identity theft concerns.
Each time a student purchases lunch, they place their finger on the
fingerprint reader and their information is immediately displayed.
The system recognizes dietary restrictions and discounted meal
status. The anonymity given to
each student eliminates the stigma unfortunately associated with receiving a
free or discounted lunch.

eradication of one student bullying another for their lunch money or ID

Master family accounts can be created to provide parents with multiple
children in the same school with the ability to deposit funds into a
singular account. The system also gives an alert and generates a letter when
account balances are running low.

The system is able to track up to 98 breakfast items and 98 lunch
