SystemSpecs is a software development company that designs qualitative Human Capital Management & Financial software solutions serving customers locally and internationally, including those in the following sectors:

CHALLENGE:
SystemSpecs' current system was prone to staff record duplication. The system was being manipulated by users who entered fictitious or non-existing staff records (“Ghost Workers”) into the payroll system with a view to defrauding the organization. This phenomenon is very common among government and private establishments with very large workforces. (Studies show that up to 7% of payroll expenses can be attributed to this phenomenon).
SystemSpecs was searching for a fingerprint biometric component that could be rapidly integrated into their existing management solution with the goal of addressing these concerns.

SOLUTION:
The integration of Bio-Plugin™ with SystemSpecs' existing human capital management system, serving 40–50K users at 37 locations, with data housed at a central server location. In all, dozens of work stations were deployed and installed with M2SYS software and applicable fingerprint readers.

By utilizing the Bio-Plugin™ fingerprint system developed by M2SYS Technology, staff members can now be uniquely identified, virtually eliminating duplicated registration in any form, while eradicating the fraud associated with “Ghost Workers.” SystemSpecs' clients have decreased record redundancy, reduced error rates, and achieved significant financial gains as a result.
